It is common that the identified geophysical anomalies require geological follow-up, therefore a geological service was organized at the company, which had grown up into an independent department over time.
At present, it can carry out geological exploration for all types of minerals using its own resources. The scope of work includes exploration through reports’ preparation with reserves calculation and their approval at the State Committee on Reserves of the Republic. The geological department can conduct neither drilling operations and heavy mining works (driving of adits, deep shafts) nor laboratory analysis.

Geological exploration at the Karator skarn copper-gold deposit located in the Naryn Oblast, Kyrgyzstan, has been carried out together with Inprotex LLC since 2004.
Geological services of the Company completed estimation of the prospects of the ore body Ozerny at the deposit and its area by commercial categories with exploration and prospecting drilling, following up of geophysical anomalies, prospecting-evaluation works at the flanks of the Karator deposit with ground working (prospecting traverses, driving of channels, cuts, geophysical surveys, sampling and so on).
In 2008, a report 
with reserves calculation for the deposit was prepared. This report was approved by the State Committee on Reserves of the Republic. Reserves by Category С2+Р1 constituted 87tons of gold, 683,000 tons of copper with average grade of Au – 3.19g/t and Cu-2.39%.
